About

WHY PORTOLA LEGAL

We have extensive "big firm" knowledge gained through years of licensing and corporate law practice with two of California's largest and most prestigious law firms as well as substantial experience in-house. We understand both the goal of a high-quality work product, but at the same time the need to "get the deal done" in order to achieve corporate goals.

Portola Legal's aim is to bridge the gap between true in-house legal counsel and the often prohibitively high costs of big outside law firms. Our goal is to provide you with the same quality work product as a large law firm at far more advantageous rates and no costly overhead. At the same time, we strive to advise you with an in-house perspective on negotiating agreements that you will be able to operationalize once the transaction is complete.
